    • While the official 2026 summer season at Snow Summit, including mountain biking, Scenic Sky Chair rides, and more, is scheduled to open on Memorial Day weekend, we will have several venues open for Spartan weekend.

      Food & Beverage
      When it’s time to refuel, enjoy delicious options at select dining venues. Ironwood Coffee will be open from 7AM-5PM serving up your favorite caffeinated and non-caffeinated beverages while Bighorn Smokehouse & Blues Bar will be open from 10:30AM-5PM serving fresh power bowls and beverages for all ages.

      Rent a Bike
      Explore Big Bear Lake and the surrounding Snow Summit area by renting a Comfort eBike from the ticket windows, then head over to the Adventure Academy building for bike pickup. Each eBike features pedal-assist technology for an easy, enjoyable ride. Reservations can be made on-site at any open ticket window between 9:30AM-4:30PM.

      Shop for Merch
      Head to Big Bear Sports, located in the base area, to shop for gear like gloves with tack, breathable hats, and moisture-wicking apparel. Take advantage of the Big BBMR Blowout Sale and save up to 70% off winter, summer, and branded logo retails items.

    • The base area offers something for everyone, with Basecamp Activities like the Climbing Wall, Fossil Finding, Euro Bungee Trampoline, Zip Line, and more. You can also try Summit Mining Co. (separate cost) for an additional adventure. The Scenic Sky Chair will be closed for this special event weekend.

      Basecamp Activities will be open from 10AM-4PM on Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17. Get your all-access $25 activities wristband on-site at any open ticket window between 9:30AM-4:30PM.

      Climbing Wall
      Learn the basics of climbing, work on your technique, or race to the top and rappel down. Guests must be a minimum/maximum of 20/220 lbs. to participate. Turns may be non-consecutive based on guest volume.

      Euro Bungee
      Get bouncing with a safety harness on the Euro Bungee Trampoline. Guests must be at least 36” tall with a minimum/maximum weight of 20/200 lbs. to participate.

      Fossil Finding
      Uncover hidden treasures from the past. Armed with tools, you can carefully dig through the soft, sandy terrain to reveal cool fake fossils buried just below the surface. Reserve your child's spot online.

      Take the magic carpet to the top of the tube lanes, then slide down as fast as you can in one of the tubes. Guests must be at least 42" tall with a minimum/maximum of 40/250lbs. to participate. Limit one guest per tube.

      Kids Full Throttle
      Enjoy runs around a dedicated course at Summit Bike Park with a STACYC™ Electric Balance Bike. Guests must be under 61” and not weigh more than 115 lbs. to participate. Closed-toed shoes are required.

      Fly on the zip line. Guests must be at least 7 years old with a minimum/maximum height of 42”/75” and weight of 45/250 lbs. to participate. Closed toe shoes required; crocs not acceptable.
    • Snow Summit VIP Parking
      A $40 VIP Parking fee is available for purchase during online registration through Spartan. When registering for an obstacle race, choose the Saturday or Sunday VIP Parking Add-On before completing your order. Advance purchase is highly recommended. Any remaining spaces can be purchased on-site the day of from a Snow Summit parking attendant on a first-come, first-served basis.

      Shuttles
      Park at Big Bear Mountain Resort's Sandalwood remote parking lot* and take a free shuttle ride directly to the Snow Summit base area. Shuttle operations will run from 5:30AM-6:30PM.

      *If Sandalwood fills up, the Brownie Lane Lot will open as a secondary parking lot for guest and shuttle access.
