It's advisable to have snow traction devices in your vehicle due to unpredictable weather changes.

With winter weather in the forecast from Sunday (Feb. 18) through Monday (Feb. 19), CalTrans may or may not be mandating snow chains/cables on all 2WD. Not required for 4WD or AWD, but highly recommended. Give yourself an extra 3 hours more-than-usual travel time. Expect heavy delays.

Please be aware that we are unable to predict or anticipate CalTrans enforcement actions. Our recommendation is to be prepared for any possible scenarios.

The team is actively opening new lifts and trails on a daily basis. Since updates are happening regularly, kindly check the mountain report page for real-time information.

Looking for an outdoor activity this winter that’s fun for the whole family? Check out Snow Valley's Coyote Creek Tube Park and Snow Summit's Grizzly Ridge Tube Park and experience the thrill of gliding down the hill in a controlled environment in one of our snow tubes.

The tube parks are open daily. Skip the hiking and take a magic carpet to the top of the Tube Park, then slide down as fast as you can in one of our high-speed snow tubes.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Snow Play area at Snow Valley is not open Friday-Monday this holiday weekend.

Whether you want to extend your ski day, or simply enjoy the adventure of riding under the stars, join us for Night Sessions from 3PM-8:30PM at Snow Valley & Snow Summit. Night Session lift ticket or 23/24 season pass required to ski or snowboard during Night Sessions on Jan. 12-14.

No blackout dates for Ikon Pass, Ikon Base Pass, Snow Valley Anytime Pass, or BBMR Anytime/Midweek Pass at Big Bear Mountain Resort during the holidays.

The 23/24 BBMR Midweek Pass is valid for lift access Monday-Friday only + any nights with Night Session (yes, that's including Saturdays and Sundays!).

The 23/24 Ikon Session is blacked out Feb. 17-18, 2024.

Ages 4 & Under | Ages 80+

Children ages 4 and under and seniors ages 80+ ski/snowboard for free. Kids & senior tickets are not limited and do not require an advance reservation. Visit the ticket windows during operating hours to redeem. Valid ID required. Not available for online redemption.
