*Day tickets are valid at Snow Valley and Snow Summit until 6PM. A Night Session ticket or season pass is required to ride after 6PM.

January weather tends to be cooler, making for the perfect temperature for alpine adventure. For this holiday weekend, daytime temperatures will be in the high 50s to low 60s with sunshine and clear skies. We are not expecting to see snowfall during this time so all open roads are expected to be clear. Remember to pack warm layers, drink plenty of fluids, and apply sunscreen for your days out on the slopes.

Looking for an outdoor activity this winter that’s fun for the whole family? Check out Snow Valley's Coyote Creek Tube Park and Snow Summit's Grizzly Ridge Tube Park to experience the thrill of gliding down the hill in a controlled environment in one of our snow tubes.

An upper lot parking fee will be in effect Martin Luther King Jr. weekend, January 16-19. All upper lot reserved spots must be booked online in advance and will sell out. You cannot purchase a spot onsite.

Anyone that does not have a reserved parking spot will head straight to the offsite lots* for free parking. Please give yourself at least 2 hours to get to the parking lots, park, and shuttle in. With the holiday rush, expect extreme delays.

*Offsite lots offered at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain only. Once Snow Valley's parking lot is filled, there will be no accommodations.

Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. weekend at Snow Summit and step into total comfort. Stop by Big Bear Sports in the base area and stock up on durable, high-performance Darn Tough Socks. When you purchase three (3) pairs, we'll throw in a 4th pair for FREE.

Catch a ride to Snow Summit this 25/26 winter season with the Sports Basement Ski Bus. For $80 per seat per day, you can depart from South Bay, Long Beach, or Orange County on select Saturdays and Sundays.

Whether you want to extend your ski day, or simply enjoy the adventure of riding under the stars, join us for Night Sessions from 3PM-8:30PM at Snow Valley & Snow Summit. Night Session lift ticket or 25/26 season pass required to ski or snowboard during Night Sessions on January 16-18.

Spend the day at Snow Summit in the comfort of your own suite located a short distance from the chairlifts. This premier private experience is designed for up to eight (8) friends, and is perfect for families or small groups. From exclusivity to the Ikon Pass Suite and access to the BBMR Daily Reserve priority lift line to curated food and drink specials, this experience is like no other.

There are NO blackout dates for Ikon Pass, Ikon Base Pass, BBMR Anytime Pass, and Snow Valley Anytime Pass holders at Big Bear Mountain Resort during the holidays.

The 25/26 BBMR Midweek Pass is valid for lift access Monday-Friday only + any nights with Night Session (yes, that's including holiday session Saturdays and Sundays). This pass is blacked out December 22-26 & 29-31, 2025 and January 1-2, 2026.

The 25/26 Ikon Session passes are blacked out December 27-31, 2025, January 17-18, 2026, and February 14-15, 2026.

Children ages 4 and under and seniors ages 80+ ski/snowboard for free. Kids & senior tickets are not limited and do not require an advance reservation. Visit the ticket windows during operating hours to redeem. Valid physical ID required. Not available for online redemption.
