Easily accessible from most points in Southern California, Big Bear Lake is perfect for day trips or extended stays to enjoy the variety of downhill trails and access to over 60 miles of cross-country trails with the sun-splashed San Bernardino Mountains and picturesque lake views as your backdrop.

Summit Bike Park's gravity-fed trails offer a variety of singletrack trails that require minimal pedaling or braking. The park features a diverse mix of natural and man-made features – including step-ups, berms, and bridges – that will challenge riders of all ability levels. From beginner features like Small Wonder and the Skill Builder Park to more advanced runs like 10-ply and Party Wave, our Trail Crew is committed to keeping things fresh all summer long.

Downhill Bike Park

Enjoy a chairlift ride to the top of Snow Summit (elevation 8,200 feet) then experience the thrill of traversing 1,200 feet of vertical drop, featuring an exciting mix of jumps, berms, and man-made features. Check out the Going Green beginner trail for the best lake views, or go big on the 10-ply expert trail. Summit Bike Park has 12 downhill trails that range from modest gravity-fed runs to fast and flowy jump trails.

Cross-Country

Snow Summit offers access to over 60 miles of professionally built and maintained trails. These trails offer a mix of technical single- and doubletrack options with striking views of the surrounding valley, including SoCal's tallest mountain, Mt. San Gorgonio (elevation 11,500 feet). Pedal out for a quick run along Pineknot or enjoy the views on an all-day trek on the 26-mile Skyline Trail.
