Season Passes do not include free or discounted access to the snow tubing or snow play areas.

Coyote Creek Tube Park

If you're traveling up the mountain, this location is the closest to the Los Angeles area, making it an ideal option for families looking to spend less time in the car and more time on the snow.

  • Located at Snow Valley between Chairs 12 & 13
  • 1 hour and 30 minutes of unlimited laps
  • Access up to 6 (six) 400-foot tubing lanes
  • Access to the moving carpet to take you to the top of the hill
  • Provided 1 (one) snow tube
  • Unlimited day access to the Snow Play area

If your child does not meet the height or weight requirements for tubing, or would rather enjoy playing in the snow, a Snow Play ticket is available for $20–$29. The Snow Play area is located at the base of the tube park. Tubing tickets include access to the Snow Play area; however, a Snow Play ticket does not include access to the tubing lanes.

Grizzly Ridge Tube Park

This location is perfect if you're already in the Big Bear Lake area. It's just minutes from Big Bear Village, restaurants, shops, and other attractions, making it easy to turn your tubing trip into a full day of mountain fun.

  • Located at Snow Summit between Chairs 1 & 8
  • 1 hour and 30 minutes of unlimited laps
  • Access up to 4 (four) 300-foot tubing lanes
  • Access to the moving carpet to take you to the top of the hill
  • Provided 1 (one) snow tube

This location does not offer a snow play area.

  • Skip the ticket windows: Simply bring up your pre-purchased receipt from your email and head directly to the tubing shack.
  • Dedicated check-in line: When you arrive, go straight to the Will-Call line to pick up your pre-purchased reservation. This line is reserved for guests who’ve already purchased tickets and signed their waivers. Walk-up customers will use a separate line, so you won’t have to wait behind them.
  • Pre-Printed tickets for faster pickup: To make things even quicker, we’ll pre-print your tickets in advance, so you can grab them without any delays.
  • Group Discount: Bring 15 or more people and save big on tubing; excludes all Saturdays and in February for Presidents' Weekend
Can I buy tubing tickets on-site day-of?

Tubing tickets can be purchased on the same day at the tubing hill. Head to the tubing hill kiosk. If for some reason the kiosk is not operating, head to the ticket windows. It's important to be aware that tubing spots tend to sell out well in advance. We offer reservations in specific time slots, and once those slots reach their maximum capacity, tickets will no longer be available for purchase online or at the front lines. To secure your snow tubing experience, we highly recommend purchasing your spot in advance online. This ensures you'll have guaranteed access to snow tubing.

Are there any restrictions such as age or height requirements?

Open to all ages, however, riders must be at least 42" tall and a minimum of 40 lb. Any guest that does not meet the minimum requirements may not participate. Maximum weight to ride is 270 lb. One person per tube. Helmets are not required, but are available to rent for $10 per person (all ages) in-person.

Can I go in and out?

For snow play, your ticket allows unlimited in-and-out access throughout the day. If you have a snow tubing ticket, you also receive free access to the snow play area and may go in and out as often as you’d like. This applies to the snow play area at the bottom.

When Chair 12 is open and access to snow play requires taking the chairlift to the top, you still have unlimited chairlift rides and in-and-out access to the snow play area. Please note, however, that you will need to walk down each time.

Tubing sessions work differently. Tubing tickets are sold in specific time slots, so your time is limited. If you leave the tubing area during your session, your time will continue to run, which may reduce the number of runs you’re able to take.

What do I wear?

Weather conditions and temperatures can vary greatly in the mountains. Big Bear Mountain Resort highly recommends all guests wear multiple layers, including a moisture-wicking base layer, insulating middle layer, and water-resistant outer layers. Water-resistant accessories (ex. gloves), mid-calf socks, and protective eyewear (sunglasses) are also recommended.

UV exposure is 2% higher for every 1,000 feet above sea level, so remember to use sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher during your visit – even on cloudy days – and reapply throughout the day.

If you forget something, or just want to grab some branded gear, stop by the sports shops, located in the base areas.

Guest Planning Responsibility
Lift tickets purchased in advance are date-specific and are not a guarantee of specific weather, snow conditions, terrain conditions, or overall mountain experience. Guests who purchase tickets months in advance are responsible for checking current conditions leading up to their visit and making informed decisions based on the conditions at that time. Lift and trail status may change throughout the day due to weather, safety considerations, operational needs, and other factors beyond our control.

No Refunds Day-Of or After Your Visit
No refunds on the day of or after your visit. Snow conditions, weather, or terrain availability are variable and subject to change throughout the season. For the most current information on lift and trail status, snow conditions, and more, please check out theMountain Report.

Refund & Cancellation Policy 3+ Days Prior
Guests may change or cancel lift ticket, lesson, rental, or activity reservations up to 3 full days prior to the scheduled date for a full refund. Changes or cancellations made within 3 days, up until the day prior to the scheduled date, will result in an Activity Change Voucher being issued for the full value of the activity cost (no fee). Same-day changes, cancellations, or failure to show up to your activity will result in a full forfeit of your payment.

PLEASE NOTE: The purchaser must be present and provide a valid physical government-issued ID and the form of payment used to purchase the reservation at time of check in. No exceptions

Once you make a purchase, if those funds are removed from Big Bear Mountain Resort's account and given back to you, your purchased tickets will become void and irredeemable for entry. Fraudulent attempts to force a bank or credit card chargeback by claiming you didn’t make the ticket purchase or can’t identify the purchase on your bank statement will result in being barred from attending future events hosted by Big Bear Mountain Resort.
Gift Cards, ACV & other Forms of Payment
Gift Cards, Pass Holder Discounts, Pass Cash, and Activity Change Vouchers cannot be applied online at this time. These forms of payments can only be used in-person or by calling 844.GO2.BEAR. Credit card tokenization is the process of de-identifying sensitive cardholder data by converting it to a string of randomly generated numbers called a "token." Similar to encryption, tokenization obfuscates the original data to render it unreadable in the event of a data breach or other exposure. If you are having issues with your card, please call your bank directly.

Skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and other outdoor activities have inherent risks that may result in property damage, personal injury, or death. GUESTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY AND ASSUME ALL INHERENT RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH PARTICIPATING IN OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES. All guests must follow the Big Bear Mountain Resort rules of conduct and NSAA Responsibility Code. Visit the Safety page for complete details. Lift tickets and season passes may be suspended or revoked without refund at any time for failure to comply with resort rules, misconduct, nuisance, reckless behavior, or fraudulent use. Anyone attempting to use a lift ticket or season pass fraudulently or in a manner for which it is not intended is subject to prosecution under California Penal Code 537(b). Policy on Purchases & Age Verification
Anyone found purchasing child tickets for personal use as adult tickets will be deemed engaging in fraudulent activity. Big Bear Mountain Resort is committed to rigorously enforcing the utilization of tickets in accordance with their designated age categories. Any patrons discovered using tickets intended for a different age category will be promptly escorted from the resort and may incur additional consequences, potentially including a ban from future visits to Big Bear Mountain Resort. The purchaser must present a valid physical gov-issued ID and the original form of payment used to purchase the reservation at the time of check in for all reservations.

Avoid Fraud
All lift tickets and season passes are issued for personal use only and are non-transferable. Each access pass may only be used by the individual whose name is associated with it. Using another person’s access pass, or allowing someone else to use your access pass, is considered fraud and is illegal. View more on-hill rules and guidelines on the Mountain Safety page. Lift tickets are non-transferable and are not for resale. Violators may be prosecuted under California Penal Code 537 PC. To ensure the safety of our guests and employees, all ski, snowboard, and bike lessons at Big Bear Mountain Resort must be booked with a certified, BBMR instructor. Anyone found offering/selling or purchasing a 3rd party/non-BBMR lesson at BBMR will forfeit their resort access, including lift privileges, and be subject to prosecution, pursuant to California Penal Code 537 PC.
