Opening Day is here for the 2026 Big Bear Lake golf season! Whether you’re a scratch golfer or just getting started, Bear Mountain Golf Course offers a unique alpine experience for all skill levels, set at 7,000 feet in the scenic San Bernardino Mountains. The 9 hole, par 35 course features Ponderosa pines, sweeping mountaintop views, and a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Proper golf attire is required at all times, with collared shirts and appropriate golf bottoms expected, while items like T shirts, jeans, tank tops, and metal spikes are not permitted. Reservations are not required but are highly recommended, as tee times fill quickly. Booking online includes a small processing fee, or you can call the Pro Shop at 909.585.8002 to reserve and pay upon arrival. To save time, guests are encouraged to purchase a season pass and complete a waiver online in advance, with one waiver required per guest each summer.

Equipment rentals are available in the Pro Shop, and golf carts are included with green fees or available for pass holders at an additional cost. Opening Day is also a great time to book a lesson and improve your game, with lessons available by calling the Pro Shop. The Pro Shop and Driving Range are open from 8:30AM to 5:30PM, tee times run from 9AM to 5PM, and the Clubhouse Grill serves breakfast from 8:30AM to 10:30AM and lunch and dinner from 10:30AM to 6PM.
