- We do not operate our lifts or outdoor facilities or undertake maintenance operations when lightning is within 6 miles of the designated lightning center. - When Schneider Electric detects lightning within the 10 to 15-mile Advisory Area for BBMR, text messages will be sent to designated Managers and Supervisors advising them of the proximity of lightning. Text messages will also be sent when lightning is detected within the caution (10 to 6-mile range) and warning (less than 6 mile) areas.
