The eagerly awaited moment has arrived: the announcement of Opening Day! Big Bear Mountain Resort is set to launch its 23/24 winter operations, commencing with Pass Holder Day on Saturday, November 25 at Bear Mountain.
Subsequent to Pass Holder Day, both Bear Mountain and Snow Summit will open their chairs to the general public on Sunday, November 26. Snow Valley is scheduled to open the following weekend on Saturday, December 2.

Explore New Operations for the 23/24 Winter Season
Pass Pick Up
Season passes must be picked up at ticket windows during operating hours. BBMR Anytime, Midweek, Dual Season and Snow Valley Anytime Season Passes are no longer being mailed. Ikon Passes will continue to be mailed through December and from then, all Ikon Passes must be picked up in person at any Ikon Pass destination ticket windows.
Purchaser/pass holder must be present and present a valid photo ID, with proof of age, such as a birth certificate, passport, or valid driver's license at time of pass pick up.

Chairlifts And Terrain
Ticket windows will open at 8:30AM*. Chair 9 will start to spin at 9AM with access to Upper Park Run, Expressway, Hidden Valley, and Central Park. Beginner terrain will not be available at Bear Mountain until mid-December. All skiers and snowboarders must be advanced riders. Additional lifts and trails will open as conditions permit.

Lessons
Due to ongoing construction near the Adventure Academy, ski and snowboard lessons will not be available at Bear Mountain until December 15, 2023. Beginner terrain will not be offered during this time.
Parking
Upper lot and remote parking lot access will be available for free on a first come, first served basis Opening Weekend. Tailgating is not permitted at Big Bear Mountain Resort. Follow the Parking attendants and digital signage to know where to go.
Guests that have already purchased a Premium Parking Pass may pick up their pass at Bear Mountain or Snow Summit daily during operating hours. These passes will not be mailed to you.
