Weather And Conditions
The forecast will be filled with alpine beauty for Bear Mountain's Opening Day with sunny skies and daytime temperatures in the high 40s. There will be slightly wind gusts so pack an extra layer and remember to wear sunblock to protect your skin from the mountain rays.

Road Conditions
The scenic "back side" route, State Route (SR) 38, to Big Bear Lake has been indefinitely closed due to a major storm that caused the road to be washed out. Be advised of the alternative driving routes to Big Bear Mountain Resort destinations. Depending on where you're located, consider taking:
• SR-330 to SR-18 via Running Springs
• SR-18 through Lucerne Valley
Regardless of the alpine route you take to get to the resorts, stay safe and drive slowly. For any road-related inquiries, please contact Caltrans directly, as we do not own or operate the roads.

Lift tickets, season passes, rental reservations, and more are available for purchase online, in-person at any open ticket window, at the BBMR Visitors Station in the Big Bear Lake Village, or by calling 844.GO2.BEAR.

Bear Mountain's Terrain Parks are perennially rated among the best in the country, thanks to our award-winning Park Crew’s dedication to constantly pushing the limit of what’s possible when it comes to park progression. Remember to start small and progress to larger features as you feel comfortable.
Pass Pick Up
If you did not receive your season pass in the mail, you must pick it up at a ticket window during operating hours. The purchaser/pass holder must be present upon pick up and present a valid physical photo ID with proof of age, such as a birth certificate, passport, or valid driver's license.

Equipment Rentals
Whether you're new to snow sports or looking to test out some of the latest high-end demo equipment, the base area rental shop is your one-stop-shop for ski and snowboard rentals. You must book at least 1 day prior to arrival for all online orders. You may book equipment rentals on-site day-of by heading to the ticket windows if gear is still available.

Entertainment
Post up outside on the sun deck and take in the alpine views as we kickstart the winter season with live entertainment from DJ Slipmatt from 10AM-4PM.
Parking
Upper lot and remote lot parking access will be available for free on a first come, first served basis on Opening Day. On Saturday and Sunday, December 6-7, paid parking will come into effect. Tailgating is not permitted at Big Bear Mountain Resort. Follow the Parking attendants and digital signage to know where to go.
Guests that have already purchased a Premium Parking Pass may pick up their pass during operating hours. These passes will not be mailed to you.
