Road Conditions
The scenic "back side" route, State Route (SR) 38, to Big Bear Lake has been indefinitely closed due to a major storm that caused the road to be washed out. Be advised of the alternative driving routes to Big Bear Mountain Resort destinations. Depending on where you're located, consider taking:
• SR-330 to SR-18 via Running Springs
• SR-18 through Lucerne Valley
Regardless of the alpine route you take to get to the resorts, stay safe and drive slowly. For any road-related inquiries, please contact Caltrans directly, as we do not own or operate the roads.

Lift tickets, season passes, and lesson/rental reservations are available for purchase online, in-person at any open ticket window, at the BBMR Visitors Station in the Big Bear Lake Village, or by calling 844.GO2.BEAR.

Bear Mountain ticket windows open at 8:30AM with Chair 7 & 9 spinning at 9AM on opening day. Trail access includes Park Run from top to bottom and Inspiration.

Hit the Terrain Park
Bear Mountain's Terrain Parks are perennially rated among the best in the country, thanks to our award-winning Park Crew’s dedication to constantly pushing the limit of what’s possible when it comes to park progression. During opening day, you will find 20 jibs and 3 jumps spread across the top to bottom Park Run trail located off Chair 9.
Pass Pick Up
If you did not receive your season pass in the mail, you must pick it up at a ticket window during operating hours. The purchaser/pass holder must be present upon pick up and present a valid physical photo ID with proof of age, such as a birth certificate, passport, or valid driver's license.

Lessons
Bear Mountain will offer group and private lessons for skiing and snowboarding. Reserve your spot online at least 2 days prior to arrival or book a class on-site day-of by heading to the ticket windows if instructors/spots are still available.

Darn Tough Scavenger Hunt
We’ll be sprinkling six pairs of Darn Tough socks across the mountain for guests to find throughout the day. These socks, in a variety of sizes, will be hidden in spots around the mountain so keep your eyes peeled as you explore. It's the perfect way to kick off the season with some extra warmth and comfort on your feet. Happy hunting!
Entertainment
Post up outside on the sun deck and take in the alpine views as we kickstart the winter season with live entertainment from DJ Slipmatt on Friday, November 28 from 8:30AM-2PM.
Parking
Upper lot and remote lot parking access will be available for free on a first come, first served basis on opening day. Tailgating is not permitted at Big Bear Mountain Resort. Follow the Parking attendants and digital signage to know where to go.
Guests that have already purchased a Premium Parking Pass may pick up their pass during operating hours. These passes will not be mailed to you.

Intermountain Shuttle
Once you're at either Snow Summit or Bear Mountain, visit both mountains in the same day by taking the Intermountain Shuttle service every 30 minutes on select dates throughout the season.
