Snow Valley is typically only open on select dates, but for Independence Day weekend, we’re doubling the fun and opening the resort so you can enjoy twice the adventure at Snow Valley and Snow Summit.
Plan ahead by reserving a tee time to swing at altitude or a MTB Season Pass for unlimited rides. Snow Valley and Snow Summit summer products including lift tickets, rentals, lessons, Basecamp Activities, and Scenic Sky Chair tickets are available to purchase online.

Above the Boom
Take your Fourth of July to new heights at the Above the Boom fireworks viewing party, featuring a Scenic Sky Chair ride, live entertainment, and panoramic views of the Southern California’s largest fireworks show from the top of Snow Summit. The adventure begins with a ride on our Scenic Sky Chair through the San Bernardino National Forest to the top of the mountain (elev. 8,200 feet) leading up to the grand finale – the Big Bear Fireworks Spectacular.

Glow Golf
Celebrate the Red, White, & Blue, and join us Independence Weekend on Friday, July 3 at Bear Mountain Golf Course for Glow Golf - a 9-hole extravaganza with a glow in the dark course and balls.
Reserve your spot online as this exclusive event will sell out. The event will begin with dinner and drinks at 7PM. Shotgun will start at 8PM, ending at approximately 10PM. Give it a glow and celebrate the freedom to swing easy.

Scenic Sky Chair
Take a ride on the Scenic Sky Chair to enjoy panoramic views of the San Bernardino National Forest on a mile-long ascent before arriving at the top of Snow Valley (elevation 7,841 feet) or Snow Summit (elevation 8,200 feet). This one-of-a-kind activity is perfect for outdoor adventurers of all ages.
Bike Parks
The dirt on the mountain is tacky, rather than the loose stuff you’ll find at the beach or in the desert, which trans- lates into amazing traction under your knobby tires. With more than 57 miles of trails on the mountain — plus 20 miles of Forest Service roads adjacent — there’s something for everyone. Those who have never ventured off-road before, as well as hardcore pros and everyone in between, can find a stretch of trail that’s perfect for their skill level.
Bear Mountain Golf Course
It’s no secret that SoCal is one of the world’s great golf locales. From Pebble Beach to Palm Springs, there are countless courses to choose from, but there are still a few hidden gems out there. Case in point: Bear Mountain Golf Course — located next to its well-known winter name- sake — offers an idyllic alpine setting for players of all ages and abilities, with lush fairways, rolling greens and vistas of the sun-splashed San Bernardino Mountains throughout the summer season.
