The dirt on the mountain is tacky, rather than the loose stuff you’ll find at the beach or in the desert, which trans- lates into amazing traction under your knobby tires.

Snow Valley and Snow Summit ensures that summertime temps hover pleasantly between 75 and 80 degrees while the sun’s out. And with more than 57 miles of trails on the mountain — plus 20 miles of Forest Service roads adjacent — there’s something for everyone. All activities are located in the Snow Summit Basecamp area, next to the Adventure Academy on the west end of the base area.
