Above the Boom tickets go on sale at the end of June 2025.
Elevate your 4th of July at Above the Boom, featuring panoramic views of the Big Bear Fireworks Spectacular. Enjoy a roundtrip lift service on the Scenic Sky Chair, live music, dinner, family-friendly activities and more then make your way to the viewing area to watch the fireworks from the top of Snow Summit (elev. 8,200 feet).

Refund Policy

Non-refundable, non-transferable, not for resale, and the Activity Change and Cancellation Policy does not apply.

Requirements

The purchaser must present a valid physical government-issued ID and the form of payment used to purchase the reservation at time of check in. Check in at the Snow Summit ticket windows to pick up your ticket(s) starting at NOON on July 4.

Tickets Include

• Round-trip Scenic Sky Chair ride
• One (1) glass of champagne (21+) or one (1) sparkling cider
• BBQ dinner
• Live entertainers
• Kids activities (face painting, bounce houses, balloon twisting, kids craft zone, and more)
• Panoramic views of SoCal & the largest fireworks show from the top of Snow Summit

Live Entertainment & Schedule

• 8:30AM: Main ticket windows open for reservation pick up
• 5:30PM: Chair 1 open for guest loading, food service begins
• 7PM-9PM: Live entertainment at top of Chair 1 & viewing area
• 8PM: Food service ends
• 8:45PM (approx.): Big Bear Fireworks Spectacular
• 9:45PM: Event conclusion; guests return to base area on chairs 1 & 2

Rock red, white, and blue at Above the Boom. Big Bear Sports will have a booth to offer BBMR-branded apparel for guests to purchase. Pass holders receive discounts on retail.

Be Prepared, Plan Ahead

Reserve tickets online ahead of time, and beat the crowd with ticket windows opening at 8:30AM day-of for reservation pick up. If over 21 purchasing alcohol, bring a physical government-issued ID with the credit card used to purchase the reservation.

It can get chilly at 8,200 ft in the sky, dress in layers, and enjoy the show.

Dining

Each ticket includes on entrée as well as a bag of chips and one bottled non-alcoholic beverage.

Can I bring my own food with me when I watch the Fireworks show?

No outside food or drink allowed.

Pet policy

Pets are not allowed at the Above the Boom event. Service animals are allowed at the event but not on the chairlifts.

ADA Transportation

Guests in need of assistance may take a scenic ride in our ADA van to the top to enjoy all the firework fun! Meet at the Adventure Academy, when pulling into Summit parking lot it’s the first building seen directly on the left. The van will start loading at 5:15 p.m. and stop loading at 7:15 p.m. Arrive early to ensure plenty of transportation time before the fireworks start and enjoy the show!
