Get stoked! Bear Mountain is scheduled to open on Sunday, November 26 for pass holders and lift ticket purchasers. Grab your Opening Day access and come take your first laps of the season at Bear Mountain.
Please note: lessons will not be offered at Bear Mountain until December 15 due to ongoing construction near the Adventure Academy and beginner area. Once opened, operating hours will be Friday through Sunday only before opening daily starting December 8.
For opening weekend, only Chair 9 for advanced riders will be available with limited terrain and park features. Beginner terrain will not be offered and it is highly recommended that all beginner to intermediate riders should head over to Snow Summit.

Explore New Operations for the 23/24 Winter Season
Pass Pick Up
Season passes must be picked up at ticket windows during operating hours. BBMR Anytime, Midweek, Dual Season and Snow Valley Anytime Season Passes are no longer being mailed. Ikon Passes will continue to be mailed through December and from then, all Ikon Passes must be picked up in person at any Ikon Pass destination ticket windows.
Purchaser/pass holder must be present and present a valid photo ID, with proof of age, such as a birth certificate, passport, or valid driver's license at time of pass pick up.

Lift tickets, season passes, and lesson/rental reservations are available for purchase online, in-person at any open ticket window, at the BBMR Visitors Station in the Big Bear Lake Village, or by calling 844.GO2.BEAR.
Lift tickets, lessons, and equipment rentals can sell out. Lift tickets are required for on-hill activities – Skiing, Snowboarding, Tube Park, etc. – and special events. Get the best rates when you buy in advance.

Bear Mountain ticket windows will open at 8AM with Chair 9 spinning at 9AM. For opening weekend, only Chair 9 for advanced riders will be available with limited terrain and park features. Beginner terrain will not be offered and it is highly recommended that all beginner to intermediate riders should head over to Snow Summit. Opening weekend trail access includes Upper Park Run, Expressway, Hidden Valley, and Central Park with a limited amount of park features.

Lessons
Due to ongoing construction near the Adventure Academy, ski and snowboard lessons will not be available at Bear Mountain until December 15, 2023. Beginner terrain will not be offered during this time.

Parking
Upper lot and remote parking lot access will be available for free on a first come, first served basis Opening Weekend. Tailgating is not permitted at Big Bear Mountain Resort. Follow the Parking attendants and digital signage to know where to go.
