PASSHOLDER APPRECIATION DAY
At Big Bear Mountain Resort (BBMR), we appreciate our passholders, which is why 2020/21 BBMR and Ikon Pass holders get exclusive access at Snow Summit, Nov. 18-19, and at Bear Mountain, Nov. 19, before Bear Mountain and Snow Summit open to the public for the 20/21 season on Friday, Nov. 20.
HEALTH & SAFETY
This winter, operations at BBMR will differ from previous seasons. To provide the best experience possible while accounting for the wellbeing of our guests, employees, and community, several new policies will be in place for the 20/21 season.
WEATHER & CONDITIONS
Mother Nature has made her way to the mountains, delivering the first snowfall of the 2020/21 winter season with 12-18" of fresh powder, Nov. 7-9, 2020. Forecasts area calling for cool and breezy conditions, which means prime snowmaking conditions leading up to Opening Day.

LIFTS SPIN FROM 9AM-4PM
Snow Summit ticket windows will open to passholders at 8:30AM*. Chairs 1, 2, 4 and 8 will be available at 9AM with access to Miracle Mile and the Beginner Area, subject to change. Additional lifts and trails will open as conditions permit.

Stop by Big Bear Sports in the Snow Summit base area to score a free limited edition Opening Day t–shirt with any retail purchase of $100 or more, while supplies last. Opening Day shirts will also be on sale for $25, with limited quantities available.

BOOK IN ADVANCE
All guests must have a valid lift ticket, season pass, or advance purchase confirmation to receive gated entry access to the Bear Mountain base area.
Daily lift ticket sales may be limited this winter due to reduced operating capacities
, therefore we highly recommend purchasing lift tickets, lessons, and equipment rentals in advance to guarantee resort access during your visit. All BBMR lift tickets are valid for same-day use at Bear Mountain and Snow Summit, excluding Night Sessions.
AVOID LESSON FRAUD
Group and Private lessons will be available at Snow Summit, beginning Nov. 20 with reduced capacities to accommodate social distancing guidelines.
To ensure the safety of our guests and employees, California Penal Code 537 PC prohibits the sale and administration of ski or snowboard lessons by private teachers not employed by Big Bear Mountain Resort. All group and private lessons administered at Bear Mountain and Snow Summit must be booked directly through Big Bear Mountain Resort. Persons found in violation of 537 PC will have their lift access revoked and be prosecuted to the fullest extent possible.

NOTE: Indoor dining venues will not be available. Increased outdoor seating and additional grab-and-go and quick-serve options will be available.

Snow Summit upper lot and remote parking lot access will be available for free on a first come, first served basis, Nov. 20-22. Tailgating is not permitted at Big Bear Mountain Resort. Free shuttle service is available to/from all open remote lots, with reduced shuttle capacities to accommodate social distancing guidelines.
The Intermountain Shuttle
will not be operating Nov. 20-22.
