On select dates throughout the winter season, paid parking will be in effect at the resorts. However, the parking rules are different at Snow Summit and Bear Mountain versus Snow Valley.
    • Paid Parking at Snow Summit or Bear Mountain
      A parking ticket is only required if you want to park in the upper lot on the select dates listed below. If you don’t have an upper lot parking ticket, you can park for free in the offsite lots and take the free shuttle to the resort. The choice is yours.

      Each parking ticket guarantees you a parking space in the upper lot, and you may arrive at any time. The earlier you arrive, the closer you will generally be to the main lodge.
    • Paid Parking at Snow Valley
      On designated paid parking dates listed below, a parking ticket is required to visit Snow Valley. Snow Valley does not have remote lots or a free shuttle, and Running Springs does not offer public parking for resort visitors.

      • Purchase your parking ticket in advance. Parking can sell out days before your visit.
      • Activity reservations do not guarantee parking. This includes tubing reservations, lift tickets, and other resort activities. Without a valid parking ticket, you may be denied entry at the gate.
      • Once parking sells out, there are no other parking options available.

      ⚠️ Plan Ahead

      Please remember that an activity reservation and a parking reservation are two separate things. If you're visiting Snow Valley on a paid parking date, make sure you have secured your parking before you arrive. At Snow Summit and Bear Mountain, you always have the option to use the free remote lots if upper lot parking is sold out. At Snow Valley, you do not have that option.

      Plan accordingly. Exceptions will not be made for visitors who arrive without a parking reservation and have not made other parking arrangements.

      • Premium Parking Passes are non-refundable, non-transferable, not for resale, and the Activity Change and Cancellation Policy does not apply.
      • Daily Paid Parking is refundable.
      • Fraudulent attempts to dispute charges (e.g., claiming you did not make the purchase or cannot recognize it on your statement) may result in being barred from future events at Big Bear Mountain Resort.

      How to Purchase
      Purchase a ticket online below. Start by inserting a date in the date calendar picker and click search dates to show products and prices. Click add to cart and check out or continue shopping. All parking tickets are date and resort specific.

      After Purchasing
      After your ticket purchase is complete, you will receive a confirmation email receipt entitled "Big Bear Mountain Resort Reservations." To ensure deliverability, please add reservations@bbmr.com to your safe senders list. If you are unable to locate your confirmation email, check your junk/spam folder or call 844.GO2.BEAR to speak to a reservation specialist.

      On your reservation day, pull up to the upper lot and check in with the parking agent.

    Guest Planning Responsibility
    Lift tickets purchased in advance are date-specific and are not a guarantee of specific weather, snow conditions, terrain conditions, or overall mountain experience. Guests who purchase tickets months in advance are responsible for checking current conditions leading up to their visit and making informed decisions based on the conditions at that time. Lift and trail status may change throughout the day due to weather, safety considerations, operational needs, and other factors beyond our control. No refunds day-of or after your visit.
    Refund & Cancellation Policy 3+ Days Prior
    Guests may change or cancel lift ticket, lesson, rental, or activity reservations up to 3 full days prior to the scheduled date for a full refund. Changes or cancellations made within 3 days, up until the day prior to the scheduled date, will result in an Activity Change Voucher being issued for the full value of the activity cost (no fee). Same-day changes, cancellations, or failure to show up to your activity will result in a full forfeit of your payment. Before making a purchase, please review the Activity Change & Cancellation Policy page for complete details on what is refundable and non-refundable. PLEASE NOTE: The purchaser must be present and provide a valid physical government-issued ID and the form of payment used to purchase the reservation at time of check in. No exceptions. Once you make a purchase, if those funds are removed from Big Bear Mountain Resort's account and given back to you, your purchased tickets will become void and irredeemable for entry. Fraudulent attempts to force a bank or credit card chargeback by claiming you didn’t make the ticket purchase or can’t identify the purchase on your bank statement will result in being barred from attending future events hosted by Big Bear Mountain Resort.

    Gift Cards, ACV & other Forms of Payment
    Gift Cards, Pass Holder Discounts, Pass Cash, and Activity Change Vouchers cannot be applied online at this time. These forms of payments can only be used in-person or by calling 844.GO2.BEAR.

    Skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, and other outdoor activities have inherent risks that may result in property damage, personal injury, or death. GUESTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY AND ASSUME ALL INHERENT RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH PARTICIPATING IN OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES.     Policy on Purchases & Age Verification
    Anyone found purchasing child tickets for personal use as adult tickets will be deemed engaging in fraudulent activity. Big Bear Mountain Resort is committed to rigorously enforcing the utilization of tickets in accordance with their designated age categories. Any patrons discovered using tickets intended for a different age category will be promptly escorted from the resort and may incur additional consequences, including a ban from future visits.
    Avoid Fraud
    All lift tickets and season passes are issued for personal use only and are non-transferable. Each access pass may only be used by the individual whose name is associated with it. Using another person’s access pass, or allowing someone else to use your access pass, is considered fraud and is illegal. View more on-hill rules and guidelines on the Mountain Safety page. Lift tickets are non-transferable and are not for resale. Violators may be prosecuted under California Penal Code 537 PC. To ensure the safety of our guests and employees, all ski, snowboard, and bike lessons at Big Bear Mountain Resort must be booked with a certified, BBMR instructor. Anyone found offering/selling or purchasing a 3rd party/non-BBMR lesson at BBMR will forfeit their resort access, including lift privileges, and be subject to prosecution, pursuant to California Penal Code 537 PC.
