Event Details
Above the Boom is Snow Summit's annual 4th of July party featuring panoramic views of the Big Bear Fireworks Spectacular. Attendees will a roundtrip lift service on the Scenic Sky Chair, live entertainment, dinner, family-friendly activities and more then make your way to the viewing area to watch the fireworks from the top of Snow Summit (elev. 8,200 feet). All Above the Boom reservations include the following (per person):

$25 Ages 4 and Under
Your cart will display two items per event ticket: one (1) Above the Boom and one (1) food. These appear as separate line items at checkout to comply with tax requirements.

How to Purchase
Purchase a ticket online below. Start by inserting July 4 in the date calendar picker and click search dates to show products and prices. Click add to cart and check out or continue shopping.
After Purchasing
After your lift ticket purchase is complete, you will receive a confirmation email receipt entitled "Big Bear Mountain Resort Reservations." To ensure deliverability, please add reservations@bbmr.com to your safe senders list. If you are unable to locate your confirmation email, check your junk/spam folder or call 844.GO2.BEAR to speak to a reservation specialist. Check in at the Snow Summit ticket windows. The purchaser will be required to present a valid physical government-issued ID and the form of payment used to purchase the reservation during pick up. Bring a light jacket, as conditions can be cool in the mountains during dinner.
Booking for Your Family and Friends?
If you're purchasing multiple tickets, simply click "Add to Cart" for each ticket you need. When you've added all of your tickets, click the cart in the upper-right corner of the page to begin checkout. - Round-trip Scenic Sky Chair ride
- One (1) glass of champagne (21+) or one (1) sparkling cider
- BBQ dinner
- Live entertainers
- Kids activities (face painting, bounce houses, balloon twisting, kids craft zone, petting zoo, and more)
- Panoramic views of SoCal & the largest fireworks show from the top of Snow Summit
Schedule
- 8:30AM: Main ticket windows open for reservation pick up
- 5:30PM: Chair 1 open for guest loading, food service begins
- 7PM-9PM: Live entertainment at the top of Chair 1 & firework viewing area
- 8:30PM: Food service ends
- 9PM (approx.): Big Bear Fireworks Spectacular
- 9:45PM: Event conclusion; guests return to base area on chairs 1 & 2

- No refunds; the Activity Change & Cancellation Policy does not apply to this event ticket.
- This event cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.
- Fraudulent attempts to dispute charges (e.g., claiming you did not make the purchase or cannot recognize it on your statement) may result in being barred from future events at Big Bear Mountain Resort.
- This is an indoor/outdoor, weather-dependent event. Big Bear Mountain Resort reserves the right to delay, modify, or cancel the event due to unsafe weather conditions.
- Spots are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Events may sell out.
- While we do our best to accommodate dietary needs, options may be limited.
- The buffet menu is subject to change and may vary slightly from night to night.
- Guests must be 21+ with valid ID to consume alcoholic beverages.
