Longtime Snow Summit CEO and Innovator, Dick Kun, brought the joy of skiing to residents in Big Bear and all of Southern California. To carry on his legacy, donations have been made in his memory to fund this camp and get our local Big Bear kids on the slopes and expose them to a lifelong love of skiing.
When: January 4-7, 2022
Time: 9AM - NOON
Where: Snow Summit
Who: 3rd - 7th graders | local Big Bear children
Cost: $50 (includes 4-Day lift ticket and lessons taught by Snow Summit Race Team coaches & racers)
Camp Counselors: Snow Summit Race Team Coaches and Racers
Space is limited. Students must be registered by January 1, 2022. To register or for additional information or alternative registration options, contact Kim Williams at 760-662-1990, or by email barbaraboucher@charter.net.
Note: All campers must supply their own equipment, to include skis, boots, piles, and a helmet.Goldsmith's ski & board shop, Snow Summit rentals and Getboards are generously offering a $20 4-day rental package. All campers who have signed up and paid will be given a voucher for the $20 package. Equipment rental packages will be available Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, after 3PM and must be returned by Jan. 5, 2022 by 5PM.
