When and how do I purchase a BBMR Pass?
BBMR Season Passes for the 2020/21 winter season went on sale 3/5/20 and discontinued for the 2020/21 winter season on Dec. 10, 2020.
To provide the best experience possible for our guests this winter, 20/21 Bear + Summit and Bear Only Anytime season passes and all Ikon Passes are no longer available for purchase. At this time, Bear + Summit Midweek passes are still available
, subject to change. 21/22 BBMR and Ikon Passes will go on sale in the spring.
If I purchase the same BBMR season pass as the 2019/20 season, will I need a new pass card for the 2020/21 season?
Important note: if you still have a PassCash balance on your 2017/18 season pass, you will need to keep your old card to use your PassCash credit. We are not offering the PashCash program for the 2020/21 winter season. For more information on PashCash, see FAQ PassCash below.
Where can I purchase a BBMR pass?
Buy your pass online, call 844.GO2.BEAR or purchase in person during operating hours at any ticket window at Bear Mountain or Snow Summit.
What date will my 2020/21 BBMR pass be valid?
All season passes are valid as soon as BBMR opens for the 20/21 winter season.
What do I do after I purchase my BBMR Pass?
After you purchase, you will receive a confirmation email detailing your purchase. If you do not receive this email or don't see the purchase go through on your credit card, please check your Junk/Spam folder. If the confirmation email still is not found, email email@example.com.
This summer you will be emailed instructions on how to upload your photo, sign a release of liability (if it was not completed at the time of sale), and how to update your customer profile. Every skier or snowboarder in your Pass family must have a photo, a release of liability, and a valid mailing address in order to receive a Pass. New passes will be mailed prior to the start of the 2020/21 winter season.
What type of photo do I need to upload for my BBMR Pass?
Please upload a headshot without ski goggles, glasses, a hat or helmet. The file should be less than 5mb and should be cropped so that you are the only person in the photo. Poor quality photos, photos not clearly depicting the pass holder, or photos not meeting specifications will be rejected and require a new photo be uploaded.
How do I upload a photo?
If photo(s) for all pass holders on your account were not uploaded at time of purchase, instructions will be sent via email to the person who purchased the Pass. A link will be included to upload the photos.
When will I receive my BBMR pass?
All customer purchases will be mailed up to the end of November. Purchases made in December through the end of the season will need to pick up onsite. All passes purchased in-person will be printed at a Guest Services office at Bear Mountain or Snow Summit.
Are all debit and credit cards accepted?
Payment can only be made by debit or credit card. Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express are accepted.
International credit cards are accepted for online purchases. If you are having difficulties using an international credit card online, please call 909.866.5841 to buy your pass over the phone.
Can I buy passes for multiple people now, then assign names to them later?
NO - All Passes must have a pass holder's name assigned to them at the time of purchase. Once Passes are purchased, they cannot be refunded or transferred to another person or season.
Is entering my credit card information online safe?
Big Bear Mountain Resort uses encryption technology to ensure that your personal information is safe and that your transaction is secure.
Can I use gift cards, resort credit, or pass cash to buy my BBMR pass?
NO - The Pass is only available for purchase with a major credit card.
Is a payment plan available?
Not for Big Bear Mountain Resort season passes. Complete payment is due at time of purchase.
Is there a cancellation policy?
NO - Your Pass purchase may not be cancelled, are non-refundable, and non-transferable, but Pass Protection is available for purchase.
What if I lose my pass?
Bring your photo ID to the Season Pass & Guest Services office at Bear Mountain or Snow Summit during business hours for a replacement pass. A processing fee of $29 will be applied.
