OPERATIONAL PRACTICES
At BBMR, our top priority is the wellbeing of our guests, employees, and community. We are continuing to monitor government policy changes, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines, and public health announcements and adjusting our practices as necessary to provide a sanitary and enjoyable environment.
All guests should practice physical distancing by maintaining 6 feet of space from others whenever possible, including standing in lines and moving through the base area. Guests should also wear face coverings that securely cover the nose and mouth in all public areas. In addition, hand sanitizer dispensers are available throughout the resort.
OPERATING GUIDELINES
BBMR’s new operating guidelines are posted throughout the resort, including all points of entry in the base area, lift lines, and dining/retail locations. Additionally, new sanitation protocols have been implemented:
- Employees must wear face coverings when in public unless stationed behind protective glass (ex. ticket windows)
- Employees have been educated on known symptoms of COVID-19 and instructed to stay home if they feel unwell
- An Incident Management Team (IMT) has been established to address guest concerns and adjust operating practices as needed.
IN-RESORT SANITIZING PROCEDURES
BBMR uses sanitizing products that have been proven to be effective against viruses, bacteria, and other airborne and bloodborne pathogens. We are working with our vendors, distribution partners, and suppliers to ensure an uninterrupted supply of these cleaning products.
We have also increased the frequency of sanitizing all public areas and surfaces at Bear Mountain and Snow Summit, including restrooms, ticket windows, dining/retail counters, seating areas, door handles and handrails, elevators and elevator buttons, lockers, and ATMs.
