Snow Summit's Bike Park is proud to once again host the Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series, returning July 31 to August 3, 2025. This special event will feature both pro and amateur racing and will serve as BOTH Round 4 of the 2025 Pro Downhill Series and the USA Cycling National Championship race.
To accommodate race preparation and course builds, the 10-Ply trail will be fully closed until the races finish on Sunday, August 3. Once the event begins, both the 10-Ply and Dual Slalom trails will be closed for racer only access. Tracks will be constructed on existing trail layouts and enhanced with new lines and jumps, including optional routes and go-arounds tailored for advanced riders. Please note, trail access and closure dates are subject to change.

Alpine enthusiasts of all ages can enjoy Snow Summit's Basecamp Activities with the extended hours of 10AM to 6PM on Friday and Saturday, August 2-3. While you can pick a single activity to explore, such as rock climbing or zip lining, you'll get the most bang for your buck by purchasing an Adventure Day Pass which provides unlimited access to all summer activities all day long.

Mountain bike riders and adventures of all types can enjoy the special event by:
- Hiking up to 10-Ply or Dual Slalom
- Taking the Scenic Sky Chair to the top and walking down to the trails
- Purchasing a one-way bike park lift ticket at the onsite ticket window and biking down
Remember to watch out for bikers while on the trails, as Snow Summit is open to the public during this event. -
Escape the ordinary and come enjoy a FREE concert by Common Kings at Snow Summit on Saturday, August 2, following Day 3 of the Monster Energy Pro Downhill. The show is free for all ages (parental discretion advised) starting at 6:30PM, featuring songs from the band’s Grammy-nominated album, Lost in Paradise (2017), as well as their most recent album, CELEBRATION (2023). rich-text, responsive-table

Brownie Lot Parking Shuttle
Parking is free during the summer and available on a first-come, first-served basis. For this special event, the Brownie Lot and Snow Summit Base Lot, will be open for public parking. A parking shuttle will run from the Brownie Lot to Snow Summit on Friday and Saturday, August 1-2, from 10AM to 8PM and on Sunday, August 3 from 10AM to 4PM.
Overnight Parking
Overnight parking will be offered for $100 per day for all vehicle sizes/types from Tuesday, July 29 to Monday, August 4. Guests will pay the onsite parking attendant upon arrival and will be directed to a designated overnight parking spot. Cash and card will be accepted. Guests without an overnight parking pass are subject to being ticketed by the City of Big Bear Lake officials.
Tents
Please note that easy-ups will not be permitted in the Snow Summit parking lot for the general public during the event. Those interested in setting up a tent must acquire a privateer pit space through the Pro Downhill Series. rich-text, responsive-table
