Home to the largest learning area in Southern California, the Adventure Academies offer various types of ski and snowboard lessons to cater to your child's skills.

Youth Rentals
Kids will have the ease of getting fitted for their ski or snowboard boots on a step-through ramp. We'll size and strap them in making the rental process a quick one. More modern amenities include the Riechman Equipment Rack system, which allows us to get their rentals to them faster.
Child boot sizes range from 7-13.
The Adventure Academy is your child's one-stop-shop for ski/snowboard rentals. Plus, book in advance to save 20% rentals all season long when you book at least 7 days in advance.

Viewing Deck for Parents
The deck located in front of the Adventure Academy allows parents/guardians to watch and cheer their child on during their lesson. There is a railing with a flat table-top that creates a perfect spot to enjoy a snack or beverage while watching your child shine.

Flat Bottom Dough
Check out the all-new Flat Bottom Dough offering artisan wood fired pizza baked at 700 degrees. All pies are 10” and handmade with fresh dough. Other options include chicken wings, flat bottom knots, and salads.

Sip on fresh espresso or hand crafted cocktails. Other beverage options include: Fresh Brewed Starbucks Coffee and made to order espresso beverages

Coloring Books
While your child is waiting for their lesson to start, they will enjoy coloring the Biggie & Friends story book which tells the adventure of Biggie the Bear and his friends on the hill. No crayons.

Moving Carpets
Your child will have the luxury of skipping the hike up to the start of the slope by taking one of the 4 moving carpets offered with access to 5 acres of terrain dedicated to kids.

Bear Mountain is home to Southern California's largest learning area with a state-of-the-art Adventure Academy for kids, outdoor viewing and dining area for parents, and 45,000 square foot deck with plenty of seating and fire pits for all to enjoy.
