The 8th Annual Big Bear Lake Maifest (pron. My Fest) delivers the same cheerful ambiance as the city’s annual Oktoberfest, but with a vibrant springtime flare. This year’s Maifest kicks off on Saturday, May 17, with a special tribute to America’s heroes (U.S. military, law enforcement and firefighters), and continues the following two weekends for three more dates on Saturday, May 24, Sunday, May 25, and Saturday, May 31.

• Maibowle (champagne-style punch)
• Bratwursts, homemade sauerkraut, pretzels, apple strudel w/ vanilla sauce

• Live music by Ladyhosen and Die Sauerkrauts
