Hours of Operation

This hours page provides the most up-to-date operating schedules for Snow Valley, Snow Summit, and Bear Mountain. Because we are a ski and snowboard resort, our operations depend heavily on conditions and weather, which can change rapidly in mountain areas. Please check this page frequently, especially before heading up, even on the day of your visit, as hours and openings may change. We also encourage you to read the Daily Message each day for important updates and an overview of current operations. Hours are subject to change at anytime.

OPERATIONAL UPDATES

We want to share an update on our planned end-of-season operations across Big Bear Mountain Resort. At Snow Valley, the final day of ski and snowboard operations will be this Sunday, March 15.

Please note: 25/26 and 26/27 Snow Valley Anytime Pass holders will not receive access to Snow Summit or Bear Mountain following the closure; however, 25/26 pass holders have up to three (3) BBMR lift tickets available if they have not already used them. 26/27 pass holders cannot redeem this benefit until the start of the 26/27 winter season.

At Snow Valley’s Coyote Creek, we will operate daily through this Sunday and for two additional weekends after: March 21–22 and March 28–29.

Snow Summit’s Grizzly Ridge Tube Park will also close for the season on March 15 and will not operate beyond that date.

Snow Summit and Bear Mountain are open daily until further notice, projecting closing some time in early to mid April based on snow conditions.

With warmer temps, softer snow, and fewer people on the mountain, springtime is the best time to hit the slopes at Big Bear Mountain Resort.

*Day ticket holders have access until 6PM. A separate Night Session lift ticket is required to ski and snowboard to 8:30PM. Night Sessions are hosted at Snow Valley and Snow Summit.
