Important Update for Lift Operations

Snow Valley is closed for skiing and snowboarding with Snow Summit and Bear Mountain continuing to operate daily. While the lift ticket calendar allows purchases through April 5, this is not the official closing date. The team will assess conditions weekly and make decisions on a week-by-week basis. If you purchase a lift ticket but the resort closes before your scheduled visit, our team will contact you directly with next steps. BEAR MOUNTAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED FOR BEGINNERS TODAY. Lift operations are limited to Chair 9 at Bear Mountain today, which is recommended for advanced riders only. Beginner and intermediate guests should not access this chair. For more accessible terrain, please visit Snow Summit. Looking ahead, Chairs 5, 7, and 9 are expected to operate at Bear Mountain this Saturday and Sunday. Starting next week, midweek operations will return to Chair 9 only.

Restrictions

Both lift tickets must be redeemed on the same day. Tickets must be purchased online and are not available through the call center or at ticket windows.
How Does it Work?

No promo code is needed. Your arrival date is the date you will use the tickets. Both tickets must be used on the same day. The purchaser's name will appear on both lift tickets in your confirmation receipt but once you print the lift tickets out at a pick up box, the correct names will appear on the lift ticket cardstock.

Picking Up Your Lift Tickets

After purchasing your lift tickets, you’ll receive a confirmation email from the Big Bear Mountain Resort team containing a barcode. Bring this barcode with you and scan it at one of the pickup boxes located near the ticket windows to print your lift tickets. For step-by-step instructions, please visit our ‘How to Check In’ page.

Onsite Support May Be Needed

Wi-Fi in the mountains can occasionally be unreliable, which may prevent you from accessing your confirmation email with the lift ticket barcode on-site. This can cause issues when trying to print tickets at the pickup boxes. If this happens, please visit the ticket windows for assistance. Be sure to bring a valid photo ID so we can locate your reservation and help you get on the mountain. The purchaser must present a valid physical government-issued ID and the form of payment used to purchase the reservation at time of check in.
