21/22 Operating Plan

Everything You Need to Know
Big Bear Mountain Resort has served as a destination for guests to enjoy the outdoors responsibly. The continued operation of our twin properties – Bear Mountain and Snow Summit – is a result of guidelines that were developed and implemented with input from state and county agencies and the support of our guests, employees, and community to ensure a safe and successful season.
Face coverings are required indoors for guests. Face coverings are not required for outdoor, including guests in a lesson, on terrain, outdoor seating or at the Grizzly Ridge Tube Park.
At this time, proof of vaccination is not required to visit Big Bear Mountain Resort.
Guests are expected to practice social distancing at all times during their visit.
This winter, Big Bear Mountain Resort does NOT require all guests to have a valid lift ticket or season pass to access the Bear Mountain or Snow Summit base areas as implemented during the 20/21 winter season. Lift tickets are required for on-hill activities – Skiing, Snowboarding, Tube Park, etc. – and special events.

Lift tickets, season passes, and lesson/rental reservations are available for purchase online, in-person at any open ticket window, at the BBMR Visitors Station in the Big Bear Lake Village, or calling 844.GO2.BEAR*.

These rules and regulations are subject to change anytime.

*We kindly ask for your patience as wait times during peak and holiday season may be longer than usual.
At this time, Big Bear Mountain Resort is not planning to limit daily capacity. Season Passes will go offline in December.

These rules and regulations subject to change anytime.
