GET STOKED! Big Bear Mountain Resort received 12-14 more inches in the last 24 hours with a storm total of 14-18 inches so far. Snow showers should wind down this morning, giving us a brief respite between storms. It will be short-lived with clouds and winds on the increase again by afternoon as temperatures reach the 30's, barely above freezing. Southwest winds cranking up 15-25mph with gusts near 35mph possible. Snow showers are expected to develop tonight and could be heavy at times through tomorrow. This will be an even colder storm with the snow level down near 2,000 feet, possibly lower. Forecasts are calling for more snow through Tuesday with isolated higher amounts possible. Highs will drop into the 20's as lows tumble into the teens and single digits. Snow showers should taper off Tuesday before we do this all over again Wednesday through Friday.
