Ryan Hall's Conquer the Wall | 2019

Join us for the 3rd annual Conquer the Wall, featuring one of the most unique races you will ever run – a one-mile, uphill dash beginning at 7,000 feet with all proceeds supporting the Big Bear High School Cross-Country team.

We will also be taking donations of of athletic shoes - running, basketball, or soccer cleats - that are still in good condition. Read below for more information.

*Participants receive a free t-shirt (must register by August 1 to guarantee a t-shirt) and Scenic Sky Chair ride to the base area. Discounts available for Big Bear locals, kids ages 10 and under, teams of five or more, and verified high school teams.

Packet pickup is Friday, August 9, from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Nottingham's Resort (40797 Big Bear Blvd.) and Saturday, August 10, from 7:00 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. at Snow Summit.

  • Top male & female – $100 cash prize
  • Custom awards for age and team1 category winners (male, female, co-ed2)
    • Top five times used to score.
    • Must include at least two female runners.

About Ryan Hall
A native of Big Bear Lake, Ryan began his Olympic journey at Snow Summit with weekly 1-mile timed runs up "The Wall" ski run, which the Big Bear High School cross-country team still utilizes as part of its summer training program, resulting in three state championships.
