Thank You for a Great 20/21 Winter Season
HERE'S TO ANOTHER SEASON OF ALPINE GOOD TIMES
Another winter is in the books at Big Bear Mountain Resort (BBMR), with 20/21 operations concluding on April 11, 2021. Despite challenging circumstances, Bear Mountain and Snow Summit were once again Southern California's home for alpine good times this winter, with 140 days of skiing and riding and 139 inches of snowfall, including the snowiest March
in over two decades (32 inches).
The 20/21 season kicked off with BBMR and Ikon Pass holders taking their first laps at Snow Summit, Nov. 18-19, and at Bear Mountain, Nov. 19, before both mountains opened to the public on Friday, Nov. 20, 2020. Read opening day recap
Throughout the winter, the mountains served as an alpine oasis for guests to enjoy the outdoors responsibly. To ensure the wellbeing of our guests, employees, and community, BBMR developed and implemented new operating guidelines
with input from state and county agencies, including requiring face coverings and social distancing in all public areas, limiting daily lift ticket sales, and eliminating walk-up sales. The new guidelines, coupled with the dedication of our staff and continued support of guests, allowed Bear Mountain and Snow Summit to have a safe and successful season. We couldn't have done it without you.
