How to Enter the Base Areas This Winter

This winter, all guests must have a valid lift ticket

to receive gated entry access to the Bear Mountain or Snow Summit base areas. To reduce guest wait times and congestion in the base areas, Big Bear Mountain Resort (BBMR) will offer direct-to-lift access
for tickets purchased in advance.

Guests with 20/21 BBMR and Ikon Pass season passes

prior to entering the Bear Mountain and Snow Summit base areas. To minimize crowding and promote social distancing, we recommend checking in at the access points near the Adventure Academy at Snow Summit and the staircase between the Silver Mountain Eatery and Big Bear Sports at Bear Mountain.

Looking for equipment rentals? Save time and money by renting from us. All rentals must be reserved in advance with 20% off for reservations made at least 7 days in advance. Equipment rentals may be limited, so book in advance to guarantee your gear and size.
Please have your reservation email confirmation ready and check in at the ticket windows
2020/21 is your season to learn. To comply with social distancing guidelines, lesson times and class sizes have been reduced this winter, so be sure to book in advance to get the lesson type and time you're looking for.

. Guests who do not comply with posted guidelines or employee instructions may be refused service and/or asked to leave the resort.

. Walk-up sales have been discontinued until further notice and daily product sales may be limited this season due to reduced operating capacities, so we highly recommend purchasing in advance to ensure resort access during your visit.
