Weekly Snow Report | Jan. 30, 2020
SUPERSIZED WEEKEND AHEAD
Get ready for an action-packed weekend, with plenty of events and prime conditions at Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. Forecasts are calling for balmy daytime temps, so remember to pack sunscreen. If you're planning on extending your visit with Night Sessions (Friday & Saturday, 3PM-8:30PM), be sure to bundle up as temps are expected to drop into the mid-30s, with a slight chance for some fresh snow Sunday night.
If you’re heading to Bear Mountain this weekend, grab some friends and sign up to compete at Bear Bowl V, our annual on-snow obstacle course competition for a chance to win 2020/21 season passes, $1,000, and VIP service at the Super Sunday Viewing Party. Bear Mountain and Snow Summit are sporting 100% open terrain, including SoCal's only halfpipes, so come enjoy the best skiing and riding in SoCal. Get stoked and watch more snowmaking on closed runs on our live web cams.
This week at Bear Mountain, Street Scene just opened with 2 of the most technical rails on the mountain. Come check it out along with a redesigned Lower Park Run featuring all new jumps and jibs. At Snow Summit, our Park Staff is working on swapping out every metal feature in the park. It's the perfect day to cruise on the jump lines off Westridge.
DEAL ALERT – For a limited time only, when you purchase a 2019/20 Big Bear Mountain Resort season pass, you’ll also get 2 tickets to an upcoming LA Kings home game on designated dates this season. Restrictions apply.
