DROP IT DOWN
Bear Mountain and Snow Summit are sporting prime conditions, with all terrain open, base depths of 34-40", and plenty of machine groomed corduroy. BBMR annually has the most dependable snow conditions in Southern California thanks to our extensive snowmaking capabilities, which benefit guests by providing more reliable skiing/riding conditions as well as enhancing the snow throughout the season.
This week at Bear Mountain, Park Staff revamping The Gulch with all new features and beginning construction on Southern California's only 18-foot pipe for the upcoming USASA competition, Feb. 9. Stay tuned for an opening date. At Snow Summit check out the brand new plaza style pad with 4 features at the bottom. There are two different zones with three jumps in a row!
This weekend, forecasts are calling for mostly sunny skies with possible snow showers on Sunday. Regardless of the conditions, remember to always lower the restraint bar when you're on the lifts. With wet weather coming through, it's always good to brush up on the series of safety steps on how to stay safe on lifts.
