SPEND MLK WEEKEND IN THE MOUNTAINS
Celebrate the first holiday weekend of 2020 at Big Bear Mountain Resort with the best snow and most rideable terrain in Southern California. Forecasts are calling for possible snow showers at BBMR this afternoon and overnight before giving way to mostly sunny skies and moderate daytime temps this weekend. If you're planning on extending your day with Night Sessions (Friday – Sunday, 3PM-8:30PM), be sure to bundle up as temps are expected to drop into the 20s.
This week in the park at Bear Mountain, check out the brand new step-down from the top of Chair 9. From there, make your way to Powder Bowl for a new transition or hit up Chair 5 for some rebuilt jumps. Below Chair 4, Amusement Park has been re-done from top to bottom to give aspiring park riders a place to build their skills.
Skip the ticket lines this holiday and purchase or pick up direct-to-lift tickets, get fitted for your snowboard or ski rentals, or book a lesson ahead of time at our new shops in the Village.
