ONE FOR THE BOOKS
The 2019/20 opening days at Snow Summit (Nov. 28) and Bear Mountain (Nov. 29) was one for the books – literally – with a
record-breaking 4 feet of snowfall.
The flurry-filled fun started at Snow Summit on Thanksgiving day at 9AM, with the first 100 guests receiving custom donuts courtesy of Dank donuts, and chairs 1 (Miracle Mile and Upper Summit Run), 2 (Lower Summit Run and Summit Connection), and 8 (Bear Bottom Beginner Area) open to the snow-starved masses. Our world-class snowmaking team moved quickly to take advantage of the conditions and were able to open chairs 3 (Ego Trip, Upper Westridge, and Zyzzx), 4 (Bear Bottom Beginner Area), and MC1 at the Summit Adventure Academy throughout the weekend. As an added bonus, the Grizzly Ridge Tube Park opened for the 19/20 winter season on Saturday, Nov. 30.
At Bear Mountain, guest were again treated to custom donuts, with chairs 6, 7, and 9 (Easy Street, Inspiration, Upper Park Run, Expressway, The Gulch, and Lower Park Run) opened on Friday.
With the season off to a record-setting start, now is the time to purchase a 2019/20 season pass. Buy online before Dec. 23 and save up to $100.
