First Snowfall of the 19/20 Winter Season
Mother Nature Has Arrived
The wait is over – mother nature has arrived and she brought the first snowfall of the 2019/20 winter season. Forecasts are calling for the flakes to keep falling throughout the day and into tomorrow (Thursday, Nov. 21) before tapering off on Friday, Nov. 22. With partly cloudy, cool and breezy conditions expected through the weekend, conditions should be prime for snowmaking as we prep for another potential storm system before next week’s Thanksgiving holiday.
As always with weather, things are subject to change, so check back often for regular updates. Stay up-to-date on weather and road conditions, resort news, and upcoming events by signing up for our email newsletter and get ready for Opening Day* by purchasing your tickets at least 72 hours in advance to save 20%. If you haven’t received your 2019/20 season pass yet, don’t worry, you can still enjoy the opening weekend festivities – complimentary single-day lift tickets will be available for 2019/20 passholders at the Snow Summit and Bear Mountain Guest Services offices. If your pass was not shipped to you, it was most likely because your passholder profile on IkonPass.com was not completed and a photo and/or a Release of Liability form are still needed.
