Join us for day 2 of the 5th annual Crafts N Cranks, featuring bikes, beers, and alpine good times. This week, the Trail Crew finished prepping the all-new Dual Slalom course to round out the base area trails with Globo Gym, Average Joe's, Small Wonder and the Mulch Jump. The Crew also continued making progress on the new double black DH trail, 10-ply, and broke ground on upper Pirates.

Forecasts are calling for intermittent snow showers mixed with occasional sun bursts starting today and continuing through next week, with daytime temps in the upper 20s to mid-30s, and moderate winds. This week at Bear Mountain, Chair 5 will be closed to the public as we get things ready for the Nissan Supergirl Snow Pro competition, March 9-10 Join 10-time X Games gold medalist and 4-time Olympian Lindsey Jacobellis and some of the world's top female pro and amateur snowboarders as they compete in Boardercross (March 9) and Big Air (March 10), then stick around and enjoy live performances by Ocean Park Standoff, Meg Donnelly, and Kalie Shorr, or check out the vendor village in the base area. As the world’s only all-female snowboarding competition, the event serves to help locate, nurture, mentor, and encourage the next generation of female riders. All concerts and competitions are free* to the public. Registration for Boardercross and Big Air is currently full, but you can still sign up to be an alternate. Register online.
