Big fluffy flakes brought us 12"-14" of fresh pow. View live cams. Forecasts are calling for additional flurries throughout the day with more accumulation expected into Friday (Dec. 7). Temps will range from teens-40s°F through the weekend, with southwest winds of 5-10 mph. Another front is expected to arrive by the middle of next week, so get up here and enjoy the best conditions of the season…so far.
Remember to check road conditions before you head out to see if snow chains are required. There are 3 ways up and 3 ways home, so plan ahead for any traffic restrictions by visiting our road conditions page with real-time updates provided by Caltrans.
Get access at Snow Summit to chairs 1 (Miracle Mile and Upper Summit Run), 2 (Lower Summit Run and Summit Connection), and 8 (Bear Bottom Beginner Area). More snow means more open lifts and terrain. At Snow Summit, chairs 3 (Ego Trip, Upper Westridge, and Zyzzx), 4 (Bear Bottom Beginner Area), and MC1 at the Summit Adventure Academy scheduled to open for the weekend.
At Bear Mountain, chairs 5, 6, 7, and 9 (Easy Street, Inspiration, Central Park, Upper Park Run, Expressway, The Gulch, Lower Park Run, Middle Park Run, and the Powderbowl area) will be open daily starting tomorrow, Dec. 7, with more to come.

NIGHT SESSION SAT., DEC. 8
Extend your day and enjoy the adventure of riding under the stars during the first Night Session of the season, this Saturday, Dec. 8, from 3PM – 8:30PM at Snow Summit. Night Session lift tickets can be purchased separately or added to Full- and Half-Day tickets for an upgrade fee. Daytime operating hours will be extended to 6PM on dates with Night Sessions, with all BBMR and Ikon passholders receiving free access to Night Sessions throughout the season.
