The Only Open Resort in Southern California

There's plenty to be thankful for at Big Bear Mountain Resort this year – great early season snowmaking conditions, a pre-Thanksgiving Opening Day at Snow Summit, and Bear Mountain's Opening Day tomorrow, Nov. 23.

Holiday hours will be in effect this weekend, which means the lifts start spinning at both mountains starting at 8:30AM, Friday – Sunday. This weekend’s scheduled Night Sessions (Nov. 23-24) have been canceled, but operating hours at Snow Summit will be extended to 6PM on both days with all day tickets valid for same-day use at both properties.

At Snow Summit, chairs 1 (Miracle Mile) and 8 (Bear Bottom Beginner Area) are open daily with 9 total features to enjoy. At Bear Mountain, chairs 9 is open with full park from top to bottom (Park Run, Expressway, The Gulch) and 7 (Inspiration) will be open for weekends only (Friday – Sunday) until daily operations begin Dec. 7.

In the meantime, all Bear Mountain Anytime passholders can ski/ride at Snow Summit until Dec. 7. Still need to get your pass? Purchase an 18/19 season pass online today. Hurry – prices go up Dec. 22.
